Brilliant place; because I live here !!!!. Jokes apart, Yes Scarborough is a nice place to get away from your daily chorus. If the weather god is in your favour, nothing can be better than Scarborough. On a bright sunny day, you would always think of coming back to Scarborough. The 2 sandy beaches w...ith the intervening dock area is brilliant. I must say that though the catle looks brillant, there is nothing much to watch there. Marine Drive, Foreshore Road, Princess Drive are filled with entertainment stuff. Poker, gambling, fish and chips, restaurants, stuff for children..... you name it we have it. Unfortunately Atlantis (supposed to be the biggest water theme park in Europe) is closed for refurbishment. Small town, good people (like me) and you will cherish your memories. If weather is bad, then it is one of the chilliest towns I must say. No good !! You have Futurist theatre on foreshore road if you are a movie bluff. Rotunda museum, Sea Life centre, and the other nearby towns like Bridlington, Whitby, Cayton Bay, Flamborough, Scalby, Malton, Newby and Pickering.Read More
