I ordered the same product on 21st March Piyush....and today my order has been shipped as promised within 2 days. Not sure what the issue is.....did the transaction go through smoothly or was there an internet connection problem before the transaction was completed or something like that?

Airtel Data Card

I am revisiting this page after 4 months. To be frank I have no complaints. It is definitely not my primary ISP and I don’t think anyone should take a data card as a primary ISP. For huge amounts of downloads, an ADSL connection with unlimited download is the best. I am sorry that many people ...are facing problems with their datacard and I am not sure as to what the problem is. After 5 months of usage, I am very happy with my airtel 3G data card. It gives me a very good speed. I have just checked on speedtest.net and this is the result. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1775950432.png The customer service may not be that good. The people there hardly know anything about this stuff, but luckily I didn’t need to call them too many times. I just go to my local kirana shop, recharge it with 450Rs, I get 1.2GB for 1 month and it rarely gives trouble. The only rare occassions are when the signal becomes weak. I have to shift it to another place in my house and it works fine. I think people can go for it as a a back up, not as the main ISP.Read More

Honestly, I don't think 3G coverage is available all over India. It's a known fact that 3G is available only in cities. This will be helpful as a back up internet connection and when you are travelling to other cities, but definitely not in remote areas. I think the coverage areas are mentioned on t...he Airtel website. I don't think Airtel claims 3G coverage all over India. It's the dealers who promise the moon just to make some quick money. I find it pretty ok, as I don't travel to remote areas. Also, we cannot expect 7mbps anywhere. I get 2-3 Mbps and it serves my purpose. For those who want to download huge volumes of data this is definitely not the right product. They have to go for a wired DSL connection. I have tried Reliance and Idea data cards. Their devices are lying idle in my cupboard. To be frank, I find Airtel the better one among the lot.Read More
