@eddie: thank you for your generous words. and i left the plot details 'cos it seemed to be common knowledge, but i agree that it left the review incomplete. mea culpa. @joamon: i am not sure why you would add a comment like that to this review - it's a complete non-sequitur. but to answer, i hav...en't even bothered seeing it - it would be a blasphemy to my memory of 'memento'.Read More

Hence yes, the supporting 'white actors' are important to the film. (Incidentally, do you know that ...in 1999, Dame Judi Dench won an Oscar for 'best supporting actress' for an 8-minute role only in 'Shakespeare in Love'?) @hermit: Your point a) is not fair - this is the 'andhon main kaana raja' idea :) About shooting in NY: bringing contextual familiarity can add a lot to a film, which this film didn't do. Would you like to watch a film on 26/11 which has almost nothing about Bombay? Cinematography: lack of a jerk does not equal great cinematograhy. Bollywood is past that stage, and these are professional films, not amateur ones. Watch any of Santosh Sivan's films for great cinematography. @preeti: thank you for the support!Read More

Accolades are being showered upon every aspect of this film, from the direction to the acting to the music. People are talking about bold moves in Indian cinema ...Read more
