@ sriramv_iyer- oops! It seems like some one didn't like my review. Oh my god that too it's Mr. Iyer. Anyway dude, get your self a life. I mean if you really want to explain about engines and there technical aspects then why don't you write one yourself and stop telling me what to write about a bike.... Lolz.. Now ease off.. And as a fact do you even know to ride a bike?? *Laughs..*Read More

@ hoffmen- Thanx for the info dude. Actually I had got one Main stand from Bangalore around 4-5 months back. But I kinda thought the same about the ground clearance. So I didn't fix it with my bike, instead I gave it to my brother. Unfortunately he even didn't like it too much. I think the R15 is be...tter off with out a main stand. Anyway, which colour R15 do you have?Read More

@ azad_raaj91, You can use a centre stand. Yamaha has made it available for 700 bucks. But the stand might cause you a lil problem while taking sharp turns.. It might touch the roads.. But still you can fix one if you want to..

@ tnt007tarun-- Dude you are right about the bike being liquid cooled.. But it's not water which is used, instead there is a special liquid we call it coolant which is used to keep the bike cool.. It's a light green colored liquid placed just below the tank towards the left side of the bike.. @ ...Chunkz-- Sorry buddy, but it's not an oil cooled engine!Read More

Yamaha R15 is the best bike in it's class.. You have bought it and from the word go went for the changes.. It's not at all a convincing review..

It's not at all a review.. It's just a query. I feel queries should be asked in some one's review and it shouldn't be a review on it's own..

Guyz.... I just crossed 136KMPH in ma R15.. Man... What a feeling it is to ride that bike in that speed.. The bike was rock solid and the braking is the best so far I have used/seen..I think it'll simply cross 145-150 given a wonderful road condition.. Cheers to all the R15 owners... Ride safe! ;)

Well...By mistake i have written it as carborator.. It's actually a Radiator. Since the Yamaha R15 has a Liquid cooled engine so there's a FI radiator in the machine.. When the bikes not running(Idle mode) the radiator doesn't stop doing it's work.. So to inject the fuel it tries to take the air fro...m the surrounding and that process some how creates a noise which at times continues for several strokes.. That's what I meant when I said- Noisy sound of the carborator(Radiator) when the machine is asleep.. But it's just a sound.. No big deal in that... It'll make you feel as if your machine is trying to breathe while it's sleeping ;)..Read More

Well dude.. I am 5'10' tall.. I have a yamaha R15 and I don't face any such problems.. I don't think the extra 1' would make much of a difference! Rest is completely upto you..

Yamaha R15.. When you hear this, it reminds you of R1.. Doesn't it?? Frankly speaking, I was a die heart fan of Herohonda Karizma. In fact before buying R15(RED), I had booked Karizma Yellow(Which looks stunning with out any doubt). But then, I asked my brother who has a Yamaha R15(Blue) to l...Read more
