Hi Countme91,
thanks for sharing your experience too, its an apathy situation. They have one of the best products on hand, but are showing incapacity to handle the service needs to keep it going. Neither are they willing to adapt to better suit indian needs. Things got to change, and if it comes ...down to the line, consumer court would have to let doors open for me to speak out.

Hi following my letter to Volkswagen India, i get the following response:

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
This is in reference to your concern received on 27/02/2014.
We understand that your car had reported at M/S.B.U.Bhandari Automotives pvt... ltd for oilsump damage concern at kms56005 as on 14/02/2014.
We wish to inform that that the under body hit and its consequential damage cannot be covered under warranty.
We have also shared this concern with VW and hence they have approved the goodwill coverage up to 33% .
Sighting the above facts, We request your approval for necessary repairs.

this is quite a shocker considering all we had written in our communication to you, the issue is not just about getting you to pay us part of the expense, why wouldn't you see that the damage is by no reason of ours, why would we even pay 67% of it. That said, the question begging your answer is that how are you to resolve the design issue.Why cant we expect a long term solution which benefits all your customers. In the recent past I have heard stories from fellow customers, which are more horrid. Seems like you have turned a blind eye to many such cases. This comes more as a smack on our face then joy.
