I escalated the matter to their Nodal officer, who were also very slow in responding. Every day I use to call them. Finally they come back and confirmed that any death of is covered.

Royal Hotel - Matheran

The rate was around Rs. 2,100 at that time for double rooms. You may bargain for discount, if you are going on non- peak days/ season. There are no stars attached to this hotel. But I have seen the star hotels in Matheran, they were not eligible to get any star
