@sannidanam thats TPS(throttle position sensor) which wont do anything with fuel control... similar technology present in all 150cc bikes. @csrinivaskgf almost all 150cc has same type of seat tank is one of the best part in this bike... just look at the bike directly. its giving 58-63kmpl in ...city conditions... which is reasonable for 150cc bike. tappet noise is not at all a issue... it will be rectified in service when you mention it during service. just report it to service center on next service. its done in matter of minutes

@Gatlin10 ya i too heard that... how about Yamaha R15, FZ16 and Suzuki GS150R(I have one)... they too have digital console... but till now i never heard any problem in them... I just told him that not all digi console are costly to maintain :)

@2570s unicorns top speed lies around 100-110kmph(according HMSI) dont drive this bike in its top speed... this bike is not designed as like other racing bikes maximum you can cruise at 6500-7000rpm continously for hours. so you can maintain 80-85kmph all 150cc behave like this only (R15 ...exceptional)Read More

you can also consider Suzuki GS150R, equivalent comfort as Unicorn, decent mileage in city(63kmpl), but dunno about service in kolkatta.

tank is better than unicorn, gives good support to leg while driving, ya bike is quite heavy to handle for first few weeks

Discover had 4speed gear box, vibrates a lot at high speed, even though it has a capability to reach 100+ (98kmph official speed) due to its vibrations u wont feel the pleasure at that speed...

ok... u r talking abt physics... let me come this way... if u consider a normal 4 stroke engine, it will give maximum EFFICIENCY at loads of more than 60%... if u want proof go and look at engine performance chart of any 4 stroke engine... ( 60% of 13.8HP in case of GS) and engine will give high eff...iciency at specific rpm range called Economy band ( generally lies between 3000rpm to 5000rpm) so by physics engine is loaded as number of gears increased(reducing engine speed for for same vehicle speed). this will increase the efficiency of the vehicle (mileage). dont think that i am supporting this bike.. i am just telling the fact... dont post false informations...Read More

GS150R is giving 55kmpl mileage in city (my bike) its slightly underpowered due to it heavy weight and relatively low power engine (hunk is 14.4HP, GS is 13.8 HP) but u wont feel that... if u want a bike for speed (rash) driving and sports kind of thing... then u go for HUNK or CBZ-X.. if u want to ...commute in cities and cruising in highway... u go for GS (it can cruise @ 90kmph in highways without any stress or vibration) finally its a unicorn with more features like digital speedo, LED tail lamp, and 6 speed etc... without mono shock... so its upto you about bike decision... advanced wishes :)Read More

Excellent review dude... nice points... FZ is meant for city driving, no one can drive their vehicle more than say 80kmph in city roads... u better check another time abt the top speed, few of my friends touched 120 in this bike. happy riding...
