I suggest that you go thru site http://www.consumergrievance.com/index.htm . They are very quick and helpful.
I sent email to Travel Guru marketing head Mr Hari V Krishnan at hari@travelguru.com giving link of this article. He immediately replied and promised to solve my problem in one day. Therea...fter I got a reply from their Asst Manager Service Sanjeev Choudhury [sanjeevchoudhury@travelguru.com] stating that they are refunding the amount and have offered a travel voucher of Rs1000/-. I don't think this is enough as they have not given service to number of customers and need to be taught a lesson.
I had earlier gone to Pune Consumer Redressal Forum. The person there advised to file the case in Mumbai as Travel Guru had their office there or meet the Judge on any Friday to put my case. But I am advised by ICRPC as follows:
1) They operate through website in all cities. Hence, you can file in your city if you booked from there.
2) Meet the judge as u planned.
3) The OP has to pay your legal costs.
