Although I personally agree with the good grades Indigo managed on your books, let's have some Reality check- Allow me to comment on Jet, Indian and Kingfisher. In my experience, Jet has definitely not been the costliest when it comes to ticket price. In fact I have on most early-booking occasions f...ound Jet to be the cheapest among the three full-service carriers. Indian has improved way beyond its poor image of the past (infact I flew with Indian only last evening). The cabin crew is a world better too and we can't even begin to comprehend the endless crucial benefits of flying with a big fleet as Indian. Cancellations are rare and passengers are treated like human beings, albeit the 'sarkari' way (read slow but assured service). 25 kilos of luggage is allowed for the ones travelling tad heavy (they don't even bother for 2-3 kgs over the top). They have the muscle power to shuffle aircrafts around to take care of cancellation/delay situations. The food served is not too imaginative, but palatable and hot. Their new A321s have amazing entertainment systems installed. Kingfisher too delivers well. In my opinion, the steep ticket prices see most contribution from the fuel surcharge and PSF baskets. Search for tickets between Mumbai and Delhi for flights a week ahead and you will find a few flights of Indigo costing more than a few flights of Jet (departure times will vary). My point is, Indigo is good and has great potential but so are the others and they all have well-oiled and designed machineries running. Most low-cost careers have silently increased prices but not capacity, which means you will find less and less of the INR 500-999 tickets. The full-service ones offer more seats at a moderately higher lowest price bracket, which means you have greater probability of finding almost equally priced tickets on both Indigo and Jet (e.g.). Which one would you fly in that case? :) Regards.Read More

Under more usual circumstances, one would find me having a very deep opinion about a product or service. I am happy to admit, I am baffled, to say the least. How easy and lucid it is to describe the sheer insignificance of my race of a life! All I want to say is this - if you can set aside ab...Read more

We were convinced, especially after I had a great experience with the standard fitment GE dishwasher in the US, that we needed one in India too. IFB has managed to impress through good performance of their washing machines, hence we set out to buy the Neptune. From the viewpoint of purchase e...Read more

I have flown AA coach class multiple times between Dallas and NYC and maybe this feedback is biased due to the class I have flown and the fact that I am used to Indian "actually warm" hospitality. Nevertheless, I am told AA is the better egg in the basket of american airline companies. I will on...Read more

(Based on flight taken between Delhi and Mumbai) - For a LCC, Indigo is probably the most "professional" in outlook. The lady at the check-in counter pronounces english as we know it, has a clean and presentable attire. The Xray machine staff are well. not ill-behaved. The parsers onboard are go...Read more
