Up to 500 Tds level water is safe for drinking. In america, tds of drinking water is between 250-350 but tds between 100-500 it is safe for human consumption.Recommended minimum tds level for drinking water is 100. But in India, sales persons of all the water purifier companies always misguide peopl...e just to sale their costly RO water purifier system. If tds level is below 500 then RO is really not recomended because RO can make tds level of water very low, which is really not good for health. If somebody is saying that Santro easily overtakes his Swift then I will say that either he does not know driving or he always forgets to press accelerator. My friend has Santro and Swift both and according to him comparing Santro with Swift is a very big insult to Swift. Rajesh, I you get 18 kmpl from Santro then you are really good driver. My room mate has Santro but he never gets 18 kmpl. Driving habits also affect mileage.
