Regardless of what some critics say, Don 2 is an entertainer and a paisa vasool experience. Its not an earth-shattering movie and that's probably because it is rare I would say that about any movie and I don't want to raise anyone's expectations sky high but the bottomline is that this is one mo...Read more

The Director of the movie Desi Boyz, Rohit Dhawan, is getting married in February. Men often do that when they feel settled in life. Hi there, Thanks, pal, for all the accolades... looks like we were both writing a comment at the same time! I fully agree with you when you say that reading others' reviews will serve me in good stead. It will undoubtedly make me a more complete reviewer. And it was nice you used ...my fav nick 'Shivu', which is one of the three used for me, the other two being 'Shiva' and 'Shiv'. Take care...Read More

Hi Spooks, Thanks for the praise. I took a peek at your profile and got to know why a term like 'mate' appeared in your comment. You are my new Aussie-Indian pal! Hi Abilash, Thanks to you too. Incidentally, I will be going in for my second attempt at CAT this very month.... Last year, I made it to MDI, Gurgaon (a non-IIM institute that looks at the CAT score and is ranked no.6 in the country according to Business Today). I did not join MDI as I think the brand value of the top 3 IIMs makes them worth a second try. I think you could make a request for 'Succesful Preparation for CAT' and I'll have a go at it. Take care both.Read More

I cracked the IIT-JEE in my first attempt back in 1998 and secured an all-India rank of 713 (general category). I guess that qualifies me to advise wannabe IIT grads. I will begin with some general advice. One very important factor for achieving success is focus. That means maximum time and e...Read more
