Music: I have said this earlier and I would say it again. The music just about average. And Sonu Nigam does great job of imitating Kumar Sanu in the 'Mere Haath mein' song. And it being shot as a dream sequence does look good on screen. 'Chand Sifarish' is a light hearted wooing song and since it ha...s been shot in the premises of Qutub Minar, I and Kiran were more interested in the backgrounds and recalling our various trips to the monument. The lesser said about the rest of the songs, the better. 'Chanda Chamke'..hmmm..good time pass funny song. Thats about it. There are other flip side to the movie. It has low entertainment value. Under pressure of directing the best talents of Aamir of Kajol and the huge expectations from a Yashraj movie, Kunal Kohli does an okay job but I would rate him higher if he gave me answers to the questions I raised in my review against his film. There are movies which you enjoy watching for the 3 hours that you sit there but how good the movie is gauged by how long it stays with you. I hope you would agree that in order to be rated an exceptional piece of art, it has to penetrate your senses and stay with you for a long long time. If it evaporates after the initial effect, just as Fanaa did, its mainly because it failed to connect becuase of its flaws. Go and watch it if you havent't. You may like it and argue against the points raised in my review. I would love it!Read More
