This is from my vxi experience - look at mileage only after 3rd servicing only .. The ticking sound is not due to stones for sure - check your wheel cap or consult some other dealer - say Mandovi/RNS yeshwantpur. there are orkut communities in bangalore for swift - u'll get loads of opinion there.
