@Rav23cbzx : Right...but the problem with Pulsar bikes is, you will face problems with gear box after a year plus, comfort is not there and you get a lot of sound when you go past 60kmph......Yes, the mileage in ZMR is low but it can be compensated with superior technology, 225cc PGMFi engine, ultim...ate quality body, looks and excellent riding+ handling stability....Read More

@Sathyanarayanan: Hi and nice to know that you liked my review...many thanks for that ! Comfort level is simply amazing. The bike is really long and tall. Thus, the seating position is designed in such a way, once you sit on the bike and start it, you will feel as if you are sitting on a pretty h...igh level...thus making you to ride very comfortably..... the pillion rider's seat designing is also superb and hence, travelling to a far place on ZMR is fun and equally comfortable.....Trust me, you will not know the stress of riding that you normally feel in other bikes...suspension is excellent and passing over the road humps is as smooth, you will not even know that you passed over a hump !! Braking is also excellent and you can stop your bike instantly, until 40 - 50 kmph but beyond that (by applying both the brakes), it should not take more than 2 to 3 seconds at any point of time, even if u r riding at over 100 kmph...the tyres are of MRF and are of very high quality..absolutely no skid...very sturdy, huge and perfect for a 225cc bike....Read More

@Nayak: First of all I am happy to know that you liked my review..thanks for that !! Yeah this is my first bike and I was pretty much cautious before buying it....I however wanted to buy Karizma only and hence, I did not have any second thought though, I did take a look at R15, P220 and Royal Enfie...ld too.... Yes, 40kmpl is good but as I said, you will not get 40kmpl unless and until you ride at 40 kmph (or less than that) every time. It is not possible and on empty roads, you tend to accelerate until 60 to 70 kmph and the mileage automatically drops... All-in-all, you get a mileage of 35kmpl most of the times, on city roads and it is pretty much good... Braking efficiency is excellent. In fact, when I was riding at 90kmph, I have stopped my bike (only by using the hand brake) to a halt in less than 3 seconds....and so, if you could also manage to use the leg brake as well, probably the bike could be stopped in less than 2 seconds.... From the time Hero Honda Karizma was released into the market, in 2003, I was completely in love with the bike. Though I was not able to afford ~ 1 lakh rupees at that point of time, my dream bike was never out of my mind. When Karizma R was released in 2007, I again wanted to buy it but in vain...Read more
