Most companies would have been in the position where they need to inform freshers that they could not join anymore. However, the way they did it would be very different to what is mentioned above.

I did not encounter any of these problems, but you would probably need to ask the female employees if you really want honest feedback. A good idea would be to have an anonymous poll by an external company and then publish the results of that. If your hands aren't dirty, you are good. If these things... do happen, then you would at least know about and have some data to be able to control and change it.Read More

You seriously need to redefine 'niche'. These technologies have all been around a long time and you can find a number of companies working with them. It's not like they are working on Google glasses or something.
I would be really surprised if anything that is 'niche' gets off-shored. Its is usu...ally the BAU work that gets off-shored to save costs, most of the time impacting quality, but that is a balance each company needs to think about when they think of cost saving.Read More

It is indeed good to enjoy your job and do what makes you proud. Everyone has had their experiences, and sometimes you just click on the same wavelength and e journey is a good one.
In one of my training sessions in another company, there was an exercise we were meant to do. It was quite simpl...e and based on discussion and you could get different answers. Two of the guys in my team decided to look up the answers on an iPad and I did not want them to. We had a fallout and they became good friends while they wanted nothing to do with me. These things happen. I would never hire these guys myself, and they would probably feel I am too old school. But I will stick with what I believe in because my values matter to me, despite companies and individuals feeling otherwise.
I share a similar view about THBS. I will never agree to their ways of doing business. Even their ways of talking or displaying basic manners seems a bit crude to me. But if you have had good experiences and like them, that is great for you. Truly.Read More
