Sudip, 'Coultard, Trulli, Fisichella and Wurz......unsung dogged pointsmen for their teams.... ' Well said....I think these guys shud be retiring at the end of the season. All the top teams have their own young driver training programmes from which they can take some young talent. Also, Coulth...ard and Trulli must be expensive in terms of salaries. Also, Coulthard was a major disappointment in his McLaren days with Hakkinnen. I dont remember him ever overtaking any of the top guys on the grid even though he had a better car. I think he was more of a pain in the a** for Mika. As far as Fisichella is concerned, for the past 2 years when Alonso was winning for Renault, I got a feeling that Fisichella was driving a Minardi underneath. Its time these guys retire and allow fresh blood into the sport.Read More

Its a different look yaar. I find it quiet a break through with all similar looking cars on the Indian roads. Its like an Indian mini cooper. I wanna get my hands on a Jeep - that would be killer.

Thanx. I think they should release it in india around March 2008. I hope they dont over-price it though. Those smart guys at AT&T have an area lock on all the iPhones they are celling and hence if you buy an iPhone from US (which for $499 is like Rs. 20,000/- which is super cool) you wont be able t...o use it on any Indian network. Now thats really bad!!! Hope our Indian hackers can come up with a crack for this. Thanx again RohanRead More

flyingelephant - Dude....never heard of a beer called F1. Where do u get it? Daya - I agree....Ferrari was quiet fast at the start of the season, I dunno what happened to them later though. The McLaren domination at Monaco was a killer....I've waited for ages to see McLaren perform the way it did.... I always found McLaren to be an unreliable car, even Hakkinnen had his share of troubles with the car. But this season its been rock steady. I wonder if its the same Ron Dennis who when once asked about sacrificing reliability of his car to speed had said 'I might as well make fast cars which can win races than make reliable cars which finish the race without winning.' Now thats aggression. Hamilton.....yes yes he is definitely talented, theres no doubt about it. I would like to see him driving a Williams or a Toyota. These rookies nowadays are quiet talented. Keep an eye on Kubica and Rosberg. I think they shud do good. I completely agree with you on Kimi, I hope he pulls himself up and shows what he is capable of. I think he had a bit of a bad luck in 2003 as well as 2005. He shud have taken the championship in 2005 for sure with more victories than Alonso. I think Montoya spoiled the show. Cheers!!! Hamilton has said that he was influenced by the great McLaren teams of his youth. "I first started watching Formula One when I was about five or six. I spent my weekends with my dad at his house and we always watched the Grand Prix together, " he told Formula1.com. "The two red and white M...Read more

Nice review. Very well written. Hamilton has definitely arrived and will in all probabilities will take the championship this year. His driving is superb and he is yet to make a mistake. Having said that, I would not say that Hamilton is the 'best driver on Formula 1' currently....he still has a lo...ng long way to go before getting there. We should not forget that he is driving the best car on the grid. The McLaren MP4-22 is better than its closest rivals by a huge margin. It beats everyone in handling, straight line speed, aerodynamics and most of the other areas hands down. With such a car even some of the lesser mortals like Scott Speed, Adrian Sutil, etc. will be able give podium finishes. Also, Hamilton has a huge advantage of having been trained by McLaren from the time he was a kid. He has probably done more number of laps in the McLaren than a Rico Rosberg or a Robert Kubica have done in terms of kilometers in a Formula 1 car. Hamilton has been trained and prepared for this moment right since the age of 12 by none other than Ron Dennis. He has done hundreds of hours of simulation races, which other rookies can only dream of. I dont want to take anything away from the young driver, but I think its a little too soon to be jumping the gun. My personal fav. car is the McLaren and in the current lot I like Kimi's driving style. My all time fav. drivers are Senna and Hakkinnen. Meanwhile lets keep our fingers crossed for a race in India.Read More

Sorry ran out of space....a word of advice.....if you really hate the city so much...why don't you plan going back to Delhi??? Wait I think I know the reason....maybe Delhi dose not offer enough job opportunities and career growth. After all Delhi is just the political capital of India for whateve...r reasons. Its Mumbai where economy, entertainment and everything else lie. It is here where you find people who step out any time of the day to help, be it natural calamity or a terrorist strike. Learn to respect the city which you stay in. After all its the city that has accepted you without any complains. So stop cribbing and trying to change the definations. Mumbai has and will always RAWK!!!Read More

Deborummy....now whatever that means. Thanx for such a 'FRANK' review. Really an amazing review from a Delhiite. I wonder what review you have for Delhi. To begin with your disappointment with the food available in Mumbai, well.....theres definately more variety here than in Delhi. I have been trav...eling to Delhi 3ice every month since last 5 years and have tried a lot of joints, both big n small in Delhi and I think Mumbai does have a huge variety of quality food comparatively. Obviously you haven't visited the right kind of places in Mumbai which you should, considering Mumbai is a lot safer for a woman to go around unlike Delhi where men consider women to be inferior to them. You need to visit the right kind of places to see the kind of food Mumbai people 'experiment' with. Obviously I would not recommend a sea food joint to a Delhiitte. The Mumbai weather is definitely much better than the extreme climate of Delhi. I agree with you on the taxi/auto part, its just a breeze. In Delhi you have to first tell them the place, then negotiate and then sit in a crap to reach wherever. One thing worth mentioning about Delhiittes - they really don't have any importance for time. You take any cab at the airport and ask them the time for Lodhi road and 9 times out of 10 they will reply back to you in kilometers. When they do tell you the time, it will be 30 mins and when you actually reach Lodhi road, you will realize its well over an hour. Traveling in Mumbai till a few years ago was very smooth. That was before it was invaded by crores of North Indians who migrated here in search of jobs. So cant say much on that part....this is after all a city of dreams and everyone makes a living here. I doubt if Delhi is that open in accepting outsiders. Regarding your problems with shopping, chemists, etc. - I wonder which part of Mumbai you stay in. Are you sure you stay in Mumbai and not some remote part of Navi Mumbai or Thane? Anyways I guess home is the best place for you hRead More
