Update on my last comment: I recieved a call from ICICI Bank regarding my complaint to the RBI....and they apologised to me for not providing the no frills ac details....Blaming it on their confusion over the product. I have had exactly the same experience regarding the no-frills account....They have now told me that they are no longer offering this account however they have just put up a new banner stating the charges of the 'no-frills' account effective 1st Aug 2008....I am now looking at closing my current, sa...vings, demat and FD accounts with them.
