The film has a supposedly message that I think we all know and movie tries to Educate us on which we already know about on how not to tread mentally ill people. the story could have been better, it should have explored the characters a bit more deeply rather than just scratching the surface and than making a plot of kidnapping. Irfan had no clue in what he was doing in this film for the first time ever I thought he was lost given that he has panache of picking perfect roles for his type of acting. Rajpal Yadav showed some few outbursts of hilariousness but they were short lived. Nothing was special about him. He normally acts the way he always does in all of his movies. The new guy Memon, looked oki, only arsad warsi makes any sense. Because in the end he is the only who has a real chance of being rehabilitated. Because after he had a anger management problem which most of us can relate rest of them like I said should have been provied with more information and understanding. One was living the past why, what happend, how come, NO CLUe, one had assumed an identity why, how come, what happend, no clue, and one had a selective speech problem, again why, what happend, how come, no clue?
As far as the rest of the cast they were just there to make the movie look crowded. I really dont think much was spent on this movie. Rakesh Roshan is known to make big budget movies. This time he tried to get multi cast but he fails miserably. If he wants to make multi star cast movies, he should pick an Entertaining script rather than making a movie based on mental problems. It just doesnt work. Rakesh Roshan needs to go back and Watch manmohan desai films. Here tries to apply the formula of multi star cast along with a script based on social and mental issues. GOOD TRY rakesh.
MUsic score as we all know that the THeme of the movie was copied music off of a Celephone Ad music as of late. Hmmm typical Rajesh Roshan. Oh well he is not the only to do it in Bollywood. Songs are a forgettable, "Nothing OFFICIAL About it".
Overall the movie is just so-so, time pass if your bored. I watched it because I had a bad day at work, and I just wanted to occupy myself with something.
