I as the proud owner of a Nokia 6600 for about a year. I liked the kind of downloads that happened via bluetooth and over the internet. Nokia 6600 provided me a good screen size to view the internet pages. However, I got bored after a year and wanted to purchase a phone that could really make me feel connected all the time. I had seen many PDA phones being used by people. I could also feel that they had quite bulky phones. I wondered how can a person keep holding such huge phones in their hands. I wanted to buy a PDA phone that has all features but should be light weight.
I visited a shop that sells Oxygen and iMate phones. After taking a look at the phones, I and my wife decided that we would get the iMate JAM. A sleek, well-designed and economic phone (as compared to other heavy duty phones). I got the phone at a bargain of 25K. I gifted the Nokia 6600 to my wife. That night, I did not sleep. I installed Active Sync on my computer and started searching Google for some good downloads, and I did manage to get some.
I have now been using this phone for about 4 months. I would say, it is great with the softwares that come pre-installed. Mobile office, media player, number display that can be dialled using your fingers (though a stylus always helps), and some more excellent features have been provided in this mini gadget. Truly a pocket PC, with Yahoo Go installed on your phone, you can always be connected to you mailbox. You need to take a special service from your service provider and you can view any website on the phone.
I would say that the phone is good. Wish that the battery life should have been longer. My phone gives me a battery backup of a day's time on normal usage.
A good phone that gives you the functionality of a PC in your pocket!
