I am Videocon DTH(ID 156151862) and I had called Videocon DTH customer care to check on the prices for recharging my package and the executive after sharing me the details told me that I have been paying extra for my Diamond package which is costly and should opt for Platinum HD instead of Diamond pack as its cheaper by Rs.10 per month. I asked her whether it has the same channels and she said “yes “and changed the package.
When I checked with her if my add-on like Malayalam plus was part of the package(Rs.50) she said no and when I calculated it was 600 more annually and she had just checked and compared my current package cost( including add-on) and the cost Platinum HD. When I told her I don’t want to change my package, she said she has already changed my package and cannot change it back now. When I didn’t agreed and questioned, she simply said she would raised a request and my packed would change to normal by evening the same day 8.00 pm.
Next day when I call the executive to check why my changed is not changed I was told that the package cannot be changed. What the hell!
I never called to change the package. I was happy with my packaged. The executive gave me wrong information and changed my package without confirming me. I am not able to watch the channel I had prescribed and paid.
I am the biggest looser here. This is how Videocon DTH makes a fool of their customers. When I spoke to the Manager Mr. Rakesh M. He is not sure if I he could change my package.
So again I as customer, I am the loose and would have to wait till they do the interrogation. All this for what. I opted for a package which I wanted and paid for that package, but cannot watch the channels because I called the customer service.
