Cheap and Good d2h. Review on d2h

For months I was comparing all the dish providers to which is cheap and good. The reviews I got was that Sun direct is worst, in service and all. airtel is best, but bit too costly  for me. Even tata sky is good but costly. Then I thought I would go for dish tv, as it seemed cheaper and many were preferring it being cheap. But one thing I found in it was the channel I wanted to see was distributed in many packages and overall it was going to cost me a lot. I called the customer care and got details of nearest provider and some package and all. But when I went there, those packages were not available.

I went to'Balaji enterprises' in ganga nagar, R T Nagar. he showed me the videocon pamphlet, it had the cheapest cost for whole package. Maybe it might differ from viewer to viewer. Basically whatever channels I was looking for was available for a cheaper rate compared to dish tv. So, pricewise it seemed the cheapest for me. Then I researched on mouthshut .com reviews. there were many guys, who had bad comments on videocon.  But I figured that the main complaint was during rain, the service is goes off and changing channels, it takes some time to shift to other channel. That for me was a adjustable for the cost. I gave the order on a sunday morning and by late evening they fixed the whole thing in half an hour. They had promised me they would come by 2, but finally came by 7.

We found that the sound was really low. I had to connect it 2 extra speakers to amplify the sound.Thats one drawback. I had a doubt on clarity but, after connecting, the clarity is damn good. havent failed for the past 2 months. The d2h logo is really small water mark on right hand side below, so its not interfering with the pictures, like in the other providers. There were few rains and I did not find much disturbance in quality as mentioned by others. though I agree a bit of disturbance is there. channel changing takes some time, but adjustable. I liked the remote holder which came along with it. I havent yet figured out all the functions of the remote. Learning bit by bit.

Overall a good package for Rs.1650. this included installation and all the set and charges for 3 months.
