I stopped Airtel DTH and subscribed to Videocon d2h on 03-09-13(User ID 101855216).
The reasons for the same was:
1)Availability of 22 full HD channels in Videocon compared to 17 in Airtel (one HD channel in Videocon d2h is 3D which is of no use in a non- 3D LED TV).
2)Annual package charge for Airtel South Mega 17HD is Rs.6910 while that for Videocon South Platinum 22 HD (equivalent to the Airtel package)is only Rs 5, 770.I find that the picture quality of both SD and HD channels in Videocon d2h is much inferior(approx.75%)to that in Airtel DTH.
A call to Videocon d2h call center was not helpful. Now I feel that I made a mistake; one has to pay more for a quality product (Airtel DTH). Planning to move back to Airtel DTH after two months.
