I replaced my Tata Sky DTH with Videocon DTH. Impressed by most advanced technology.
Great features are :
1) Amazingly fast installation within 8 hrs. of order.
2) Great picture quality. HD picture/sound quality is as good as Airtel/Tata sky is having.
3) Selection between stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound wherever broadcaster is providing 5.1 sound. Currently out of 22 HD channels , 10 channels are with 5.1 sound option. Includes Star plus/colors/zee/Sony/Mtunes/Star Gold/Star world/Times Now/Z studio.
4) The only DTH provider who gives National Geo channel in 3D. Looks great on Panasonic 50UT50D 3D TV. Big brands like Dish TV/Airtel/Reliance should fell ashamed that they are not providing such a great feature.
Waiting for:
1) Facility of recording in HD STUB.
2) 5.1 sound is available on coaxial output of HD STUB. It should be available on HDMI.
Overall great value for money. One year subscription cost only Rs. 6000 including STUB.
