I had bought Videocon d2h a year ago, The plans are very good and attractive when compared to other D2H operators, Picture and Sound quality was also good,
One day it stopper working so, we found that LNB Arm has been rusted due to the bad design(Rain water stagnated in the arm),
Day 1: I called the customer care and Raised the service request
Day 2: Service Man came to the site and told me that entire outdoor system need to be replace, (I was shocked, ARE YOU SERIOUS DUDE!?), I said no
Day 3: I tried to explain it to the customer care, He tried to convince me, I called for a escalation, Now a guy spoked to me in very professional way and Assured that everything will be done in a day
Day 4: As no response, I called the customer care, He told ticket as been closed that I refused to pay the service man and 200rs has been deducted from my account balance, I WAS SHOCKED
And I tried to make escalation as possible for few more days but seems everyone is involved in this fraud business, As I paid 2 year subscription in whole I was forced to buy 615rs antenna+ 200rs service charge, Instead of 100rs LNB Arm,
Videocon is good in terms of quality of service but never expect customer support and service
