I have been using Videocon d2h for last 2+ years and have been a happy customer always, both in terms of picture quality and support. HD channels are very good to see and they have a big list of HD channels.


In the past, anytime I have an issue with the product, the service personnel used to come to my premises within 24 hours and solve the issue, as their SLA claims.


But the sad story started just last week when my TV showed a Signal not available message. I, with full confidence called the customer service center (because of the past experience) and informed the problem.


They noted down the issue and provided me with a issue ID. I waited for one day and called them again as I did not get any call from the service personnel. Again they noted down the complaint and gave me the issue ID. This went on for 5 days and escalated the issue to the floor supervisors thrice. But no help other than just issue id's.


Finally I could search and get the area head's number and called him. After repeated attempts, he picked the call and after listening to my problem, he informed that there is some problem with my area(Ananthnagar, Electronic city) since Jan 2014, as the local service providers are not willing to support.


I am now left with no hope. I have to opt for other dth now. I wonder why the management has not taken any action against the local service provider or arrange some alternative mechanism. The call center is so unprofessional.




  • Most of them dont speak English properly.




  • It is so noisy that you need to strain your ears.




  • If asked for escalation, call will be put on hold for 15 minutes and disconnect after that.
