Graphic T-Shirts from Zovi are awesome. Review on Zovi

Graphic t-shirts with good designs are difficult to find. Yes, there are plenty at your nearby marketplace, but those roadside tees are normally of poor quality and have poor designs. So, in search for good quality and designs I scoured the internet. I tried different sites like xtees, eba, rediff etc. but in each case the quality was poor and/or they were expensive.

Till one day when I came across zovi. I had visited their site a few yers ago but this time it was in a completely new avatar. They were having an offer of buy 2 graphic tees get one free. So I decided to try it out.

Zovi’s Range

Zovi are an online clothing retailer who sell their own brand of casual men and women’s apparel including tees, shirts, trousers, ethnic wear, footwear and winter clothing. But personally I find their graphic t-shirt line to be their best product.

What’s Good

Navigation

The site is beautifully designed and showsoff the products well with large pictures. The offers are also listed on the first page. In addition the sub menus are easy to navigate to take you to your desired product category, where you can filter options by colour, size, newness of designs, discounts and price.

Size tool

One very useful feature in Zovi is the size tool which tells you the Zovi equivalent size in comparison to other brands you wear. E.g. Adidas, Lifestyle, Myntra etc. For e.g.e a Myntra L will be equal to a Zovi L and they show the dimensions by chest, shoulder and length of the T-shirt. A pepe L is the size of a Zovi M.

Offers galore

Most graphic tees are priced at Rs. 399, but there are always offers and discount running. I recently purchased t-shirts on a buy 2-get one free offer, so I got 2 t shirts for Rs. 718, since there was a 10% further discount for prepayment(i.e. paying via credit card, netbanking etc. instead of cash on delivery.) Sales are going on all the time, so you need to find the items you want.

Quality and Designs

The qualities of Zovi T shirts are good, especially when you get them on sale whereby they are priced around Rs. 250 – 300. Personally, Rs. 399 and above is too much for these tees, but I see them lasting for around a year with regular wear which is good. The quality of prints is also good and does not wear off easily.

In my opinion, Zovi has some of the best designs. I have uploaded a couple of my favourites, and you can find one to suit almost every style. New designs are also uploaded regularly, giving you lots of choice.

The Bad

Minimum Order for free shipping Rs. 500

You need to order at least Rs. 400 for them to ship, and Rs. 500 for free shipping. Else they impose a hefty shipping cost of Rs. 100. This seems to be away to force people to buy at least 2 t shirts, whereby they are likely to try and get the one free offer.

Stocks sell out fast

If there is a design you like, chances are others like it too, for I find they get sold out quickly for the popular sizes,(M, L, XL), so you need to be quick and decide whether to purchase or not. Sold out t- shirt designs do not necessarily come back in stock, they are mostly discontinued.

If you get a coupon, previous offer is removed automatically

If you happen to get a coupon from Zovi, it will not work in addition to the existing offers. Applying the coupon will remove all offers, and in most cases will make it more expensive to order. For instance, I got a Rs. 400 off on orders above Rs. 1000, but after I applied it, the free shipping and existing discounts on t-shirts were removed. It became cheaper to just purchase them without using the coupon.

Tracking system is not very good

The Zovi tracking system does not update very fast and is not very detailed. Half the time I received the product before it even said it had landed in my city. However, the SMS updates they give intimating the day on which delivery will take place is accurate.

Verdict

There are many other products on Zovi like jeans, footwear etc but you can get better designs and quality products of those on other websites or even in the local stores. But Zovi’s graphic designed t- shirts are worth the money for their value, quality and uniqueness.
