I was interested in getting my brother's wedding photos printed in a nice photobook and present to him. I looked through the internet and found out very nice reviews written about zoomin.com and decided to give them a try. I ordered on 24th Jan and got a status on my update saying estimated shipment date as 28-29 Jan with a plus of 2-3 days due to some technical problems. I was okay with that and waited for my flipbook to arrive.
On 2nd feb when I saw the status still showing as 'processing', I tried to locate zoomin's customer care no., and to my horror, they didn't had any. Zoomin is running a service and donot have a customer care no. Was a real shocker. I searched their website and found a help link and posted my query, I received a reply on 4th feb that order processing take 7-10 working days and that I'll receive my flipbook by end of that week. I again waited. Again nothing. Helplessly, I wrote to zoomin again on 9th feb, this time really irritated, that it's been 12 working days and still there's no sign of my order and so I want my money back. On 11th feb I get a reply that zoomin will return my money and since zoomin 'has not met up my expectations', they will send the order free of cost. I got my money back, but amazingly when I checked the status of my order today, it still showed 'processing'...even after those tall claims and sweet talk, the end result in fact is A BIG ZERO. Zoomin guys can only talk and cannot deliver.
I had uploaded those photos and designed the flipbook with so much effort and promised my brother that i'm getting a 'better than album' thing done for his wedding memories. But thanks to zoomin, it is not happening and now I'm getting the photos done from a traditional photo store, after facing a lot of embarrassment.
I strongly recommend not to get anything done through zoomin.com, you'll only be wasting your time and energy in follow-ups.
