I have been using this app to search nearby restaurants. I being an ultimate foodie, I love experimenting. Zomato helps me with it.
Zomato is a global restaurant search app. It gives us in-depth information for so many restaurants.
You know the moments when you are out on a vacation and you are completely lost as to where to eat and what kind of food you will get there. That is when this app comes in handy.
So I am the girlfriend in real life that has to do all the arrangements because my guy likes ‘ghar ka khaana’ even if it’s a date. I need to be on my toe if it has to be a dinner or lunch date. Luckily, I have managed to get my boyfriend out of his house by giving him the entire details of where are we going, the snapshots of the menu and also the timings till its open.
The app also has the ‘Order Online’ feature, but I have never tried it myself.
The apps help to search restaurants, bars, resto-bars, pubs, cafes by different filters. One can search by cuisines, location, offers or discounts and many other filters.
They also have this ‘Collection’ Section, wherein they have sorted everything in this manner – Veggie Friendly(For Vegetarian hotels), Great coffee, Value for Money, Beer in a bar, All-day-dining, The GC Collection, Great Breakfasts, Legendary Hotels, Regional Favorites, Rooftops, Students Faves, European & Mediterranean, Kickass Burgers, Live music, Trending this week and many more.
One can explore every single restaurant in the city or anything near them.
They have menus on the restaurant, which is quite helpful.
They have put up the pictures of most of the food the place provides, which is really cool.
One can save their favorites by bookmarking it.
The phone numbers are put up with the calling option available.
Directions and user reviews are also provided.
Apart from that you can be a foodie on this app. So if you keep on checking in to a place through Zomato and add pictures and reviews, you will be amongst the foodie on Zomato.
I am the person who forgets where I ordered from last time if it was a home delivery. So for people like me they have the recently viewed option as well.
As per the page on play store it says that Zomato is currently available in 150 countries.
