Tanuja Chandra’s films have a special thing that her film is appreciate by all people before the release of the film but after the release nobody buys the ticket. Zindagi Rocks is one of them.But I had gone to see the film because I want to see Sushmita Sen after a long time.But unfortunately it turned out to be a depressing film. Zindagi Rocks is even worst than Tanuja’s previous films.
Zindagi Rocks is a small budget film shot in Goa.The film is a progressive love story between a pop singer and a doctor.It is a story of a pop singer played by Sushmita Sen who falls in love with Shiney Ahuja in a hospital.Later on Shiney Ahuja came to know that Sushmita’s son need a heart transplantation.
As far as performance is considered, Sushmita Sen does a fine job.Shiney Ahuja is working hard and this can be reflected from his performance.
Anu Malik gives one more FLOP music.
Collection of Zindagi Rocks is also very low.Collection in multiplex are quite sad.Zindagi Rocks opening collection is just 25% which tells the future of film.Zindagi Rocks is well publisized film while the other film MERA DIL LEKE DHEKO which is released with Zindagi Rocks is not well publisized film but still its collection is 20%.Difference is just 5% which is expected to be more.I have not seen MERA DIL LEKE DHEKO till now but I think it would be better if I had gone to see it instead of Zindagi Rocks.Perhaps the low collection has also the reason that most of the muslim audience not going to theatre because of their Ramzan period.
Tanuja has gone wrong.She had made a depressing film in the name of emotional film.Nobody will give 150-200 Rs to watch a depressing film.Actually there is no salable hero in the film.Shiney Ahuja is a known face but he is not as salable as SRK,Salman Khan or perhaps John Abrahim.
On the whole, Zindagi Rocks doesn't rocks at all.
