"Zindagi Gulzar hai" English translation of it means " Life is a rose garden". This show is a Pakistani serial and was broadcasted on HUM TV. The story was of the novel by the same name, written by Umera Ahmad.

Lately, this show was aired twice on Zindagi channel. The reason behind it was'public demand', yes, the show became a super hit in India, and thus it was aired twice.

Plot-

The story of this serial revolves around Kashaf Murtuza( Sanam Saeed) and Zaroon Junaid( Fawad khan), who are absolutely different from one another.

Kashaf, was a simple and a mature female, belonging to middle class family. She lived with her mother Rafia and her two younger sisters, Sidra and Shehnila. Her father was not staying with them, because he had left her mother simply because she did not give birth to a male child. Later her father got married to another lady who eventually gave birth to his son.

kashaf, gets admission in a well known university to complete her higher studies. At this university she meets Zaroon. The two of them do not get well along with each other. Zaroon was always jealous of kashaf. This jealousness emerged because kashaf had superseded him in studies. As a result of which they end up having arguments and fights. At the end of their course, Zaroon tries to patch up with Kashaf but all his tries went in vain.

Zaroon came from a very rich family which consisted of a laid-back and patient father, an independent and a workaholic mother and his sister. His friend circle consisted of Asmara and Osama. Zaroon and Asmara get engaged to each other because Asmara used to like Zaroon, but because of irreconcilable differences they call off this engagement. Zaroon did not appreciate a few qualities of Asmara and always thought that his ideal wife would have all the qualities of Kashaf!

One year later, destiny brings Kashaf and Zaroon in front of each other again. Once again Zaroon tries to be friends with Kashaf, but she did not accept his friendship because she thinks he is the same person as he was in the university days. On the other hand, Osama, who is Kashaf's good male friend proposes to Kashaf, but she rejects his proposal because she was not willing to complicate her life by getting married.

Later, Zaroon confesses to Sir Abrar, that he wants to marry Kashaf! Sir Abrar is Kashaf's and Zaroon's former university professor. He is also a friend to Zaroon's family and also a mentor to Kashaf. Kashaf gets very furious, when she comes to know about this proposal. She thinks Zaroon is not serious about it and is trying to fool her. The two of them meet up at Sir Abrar's home to have a direct conversation on this topic. Here Zaroon saves Kashaf from getting burnt by hot tea which got spilled. This makes kashaf realize that Zaroon is not as bad as she thought about him. Later she accepts his proposal and the soon get married.

They start to live with each other. Though they have a lot of problems and misunderstandings, they lead a happy and a satisfactory life thereafter.

Few reasons why I loved this show-

1) FAWAD KHAN- I started watching this show after taking a glance at him in glares. His looks, his voice, his personality has made many girls go crazy about him.

2) Sanam Sayeed- Beautiful actor. She has done complete justice to her role. A thumps up to her acting!

3)Fixed number of episodes- This is something very unique about Pakistani shows. This really keeps the audience engrossed completely.

4)Close to reality-Everything in that is shown in the show was very acceptable. No over the top drama was seen. No one dying and making a come back. Everything was very relatable and something that the audience could believe.

5)A very real life type love story- The love story shown between Zaroon and Kashaf was very much like how it  happens in a layman's life. A very subtle way of expressing love was shown.

6)Sub-plots are nicely woven- To have a super successful show u do not need to show the lead pair in every frame.'Zindagi Gulzar hai' does the same. They show everything that is happening in the life of Kashaf and Zaroon's family members.

7)The background vocals of Zaroon and Kashaf- I really loved this. These vocals help build a strong connection between them and the audience.

8)Awesome supporting cast- Apart from Fawad Khan I really liked Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui(Osama) he looks great in the show. Other actors like Mehreen Raheel(Asmara), Ayesha Omar(Zaroon's sister) also do a great job.

Overall-

Great show. I loved it. Everybody should watch it at least once.

Thanks for reading!
