I have purchased home sucurity system few months back. My overall experience is pathetic.
Installation
During installation they found that batteries are missing. The product was tamperred. No one was ready to take responsibility, the seller or the installer. After lots of efforts and high talking they got new batteries and installed.
Service
First of all the service is very very poor. What they call as service engineers are hardly qualify as local electrician. After just five months of installation my remote was not working. Logged call with call center. No reply for one week. After reminding, so called engineer visited. They changed the remotes and demanded money for that. Firstly they said that the remotes are not covered under warantee and then started portraiting that the warantee is finished and I would have to pay for it. The service people tried to put money in their pocket. With near quarrel debate and after involving Zicom people they finally agreed.
Another episode - After six-seven months of installation, hooter stopped. Again same story and again fight to get the replaced.
After two months of above change again hooter stopped. This time they knew me so quickly thet changed complete control panel to rectify the problem.
But the basic issue is the Zicom products are Sub-Standared. How can a reputed company linke Zicom encounter such repeated problems? And how can they are maintaining such unprofession team to solve the problems?
My suggestions- Dont go for Zicom. They will install, may give you discounts, but will wait for warantee to complete. Then they will start milking money.
Very very poor.
