Recently I opened trading account with zerodha. They took almost a month to clear the documents and open the trading account. They don't have offices everywhere and everything happens by email and phone. Once the account is opened they wont take your calls. I found it so strange. Then I had a big struggle in brining money to Trading account. I had to pay money by NEFT/IMPS to their HDFC account. Once money is transferred, call them and then they will take steps to bring money into your trading account in Leisure. Even for IMPS, it took 10 days to get money in Trading account. Additionally, when you trade in future/options, the server is slow and doesn't show the real time rate. I think, there is a lag of few seconds. It tempted me to open the account due to negligible commission, but I've lost more than that. Not able to do trading for last 1.5 months through Zerodha. Be careful.
