(By the way, there is no other awards reviews category here! So I wrote it in here:)
The Zee Cine Awards 2004 was held in a beautiful place called Dubai. And I must say, it was 1000 times better than Filmfare, and always be. The Zee Cine Awards have reached to the top and was the most entertaining Indian awards I have ever seen.
All the stars were there, including the Arab Sheikhs!
At the beginning, was obviously the technical awards, and annoying Javed Jaffrey (who is not even funny anymore) began to host, and he was doing usual things he always does. Then came Katrina Kaif (who is good at being the Emcee, was presenting the people who will present them the awards.) What's really surprising when they brought Reema Khan, Resham, and other Pakistani stars to come participate in the awards.
Pinjar won most of the tech awards, such as story, costume, lyrics, etc. and Koi Mil Gaya winning digital art and choreography. (Ganesh Hedge is the best dance choreographer of India!)
Omar Shareif, Pakistan's comedian, has really bought the tears into my eyes, he was HILARIOUS! Later on the show, he came with India's favourite comedian, (i'm sorry I forgot his name) to talk about of course their comedy act and including India/Pakistan's unity and how great the two countries are. Doing the ''Jadoo Ki Jappi'' and saying other Movie titles on joining Pakistan and India together.
Many people who came on stage has really poured their hearts into the people of Dubai and of course having I/P together. It was cool, and that's how it really should be.
Poor poor Salman Khan was there the whole time, not getting a chance to present anything or even get an award! He looked good though, and he deserved at least something!
Hrithik Roshan did a spectacular performance of all the songs he has done. It was enjoyable. He looked good, had very short hair and kind of got fatter for his next movie.
More fun part came ahead when Karan Johar and Juhi Chawla came to host the second part of the show. They were clever, witty, funny, and smart. You should watch for them, they were great. (Yet I don't like KJ when he makes movies) - (Plus watch Juhi's singing.... She was so good)
Saif Ali Khan's guitar solo plus his Maahi Ve dance was spectacular. He looked great and decent, he was a great entertainer. He played some classic English rock songs such as ''We Will Rock You'', ''Pretty Woman'' and others. Then he played classic Hindi songs such as Shammi Khapoor's ''Aaja Aaja'', Aamir Khan's ''Deewana Mujhsa Nahin'', and then new numbers such as ''Dil Chahta Hai''... And then he went on to doing his Maahi Ve dance. Very well done.
Then came the man who never leaves the stage, once he is on it. Yes, I mean SRK. Yeah he entertained people, called a couple of girls on the stage and what was shocking when he kicked everyone out of the stage and said ''This is my show, do what I say'' - ugh... typical egoistic man. Yeh he was alrite. He sang very very very bad... OMG! He's a bad singer!!!

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: Yash Johar - (Plus SRK, HR, Preity, Saif, Juhi, & Lara Dutta did their whole routine of all the movies Johar has done. It was eh... too loud)
GOLDEN GATE AWARD: Shri Amitabh Bachchan
MALE SUPERSTAR: Shah Rukh Khan
FEMALE SUPERSTAR: Preity Zinta
So it was a great entertaining, enjoyable awards. The Zee Cinema is going some places man! Very good... (Yes, the negative part was some of the winners were biased, but not all.....:))
