I started off to watch this new reality show, right from the first episode. First I thought it was just like any other reality dance show amongst the dozens who are already in the rat race. But to my surprise I found a change that there is no voting system or weekly elimination of the celebrities, so atleast I can watch all my favorites till the end of the show.
The show judged by Malaika Arora and Chunkey Pandey. The Hosts of the show were TV actor Karan Singh Grover aka (Armaan Mallik from “Dill Mill Gaye") and Shweta Gulati best known as Tia of the serial Remix in star one.
The Tez talwar group contestents were popular actors Ali Azgar, Amit Tandon, Bhaktyaar Irani, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Goel, Vikash Sethi, Chaitanya Chowdhury and child artists Amey Pandya.
And the meeti churi group consisted again TV actress like Karishma Tanna, Rupali Ganguli, Delnaz Paul, Narayani Shastri, Jennifer Winget, Arshita , Mouni Roy and Swini Khare.
Really a nice show quite entertaining, and full of masti, Jagada and non stop debates. Some of the performance was really touching and out of the world, Like I really liked the
1) Tanhayee song from Dil Chahta Hain performed by Tez Talwar Chaitanya
2) Mausam hain , ganeka (mitun act) done by karishma was tooo good.
3) Even the ghost act was mind blowing. By the Mithee churis.
4) The folk dance done by Vikas (Amhi takar takarr ya ranachi pakar) was good enough to win
But then came the grand finale. I mean anyone could have predicted who had watched the episodes that the girls will win the show as they were not only playing safe, and on their strengths but also were having the slow and steady strategy which was really nice. Also they had the advantage of doing all type of dance like the traditional, folk, bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi ect ect ect of course the additional costume options advantage of being graceful.
On the other hand the boys were also performing very well and yes cant miss the new new experiments which they did. Vikas attempted to do both the traditional and folk dance which he did very pleasingly.
But the grand finale was like a shock out of five rounds only 1 was won by boys and rest by girls.. last round was not attempted by the boys as they felt they were sidelined and the decisions were biased.
To an extent even I felt so. The first round in which karishma performed she did the same stuff of lifts and all……but Baktiyar did that additional and innovative TV stuff and the jumping thing also. But malaika commented that he had repeated his steps.
Second round : the meeti churies were the clear cut winners no doubt on that, they had perfect coordination and even the theme was good. That decision could not be questioned.
Third round of Hum tum : right decisions no comment on that too
4th round : Again I thought baktiyar was much better than ishita, Malaika saying that there was only 1 point difference between both of them, baktiyaar was performing third time on that stage and after loosing two rounds anyways the motivation level was zero as they said and it was ishita’s first performance, but offcourse there is no sympathy points.
boys saying there is no motivation was right, the girls were always motivated in the entire show but there was not a single sentence told for the boys by the judges.
And on top of that Saroj khan saying “kitna gatiya nache tum log”, how dare she say such words to the celebrities on a national television. …….
Agreed she is one of the best choreographer.. but still doesn’t now how to comment and speak in public.
Has she forgotten that the boys on whom she was commenting are also experienced and are celebrities having lots of fans around?
The grand finale was really a CRASH to all the efforts put in these weeks.
