Zameen-Ultimate Action Drama. Review on Zameen

“Zameen” Directed by Rohit Shetty is Hard-hitting Action film in terms of Execution.

The Plot

The Film is a fast paced Action flick showing a Cornel in Army & a ACP of Anti Terrorist Squad Saves People from a High jacked Flight and Kills India’s Most Wanted Terrorists.

The Cast

Ajay Devgun has given another Mind-blowing performance after his recent Cop drama “Gangajal”, He emotes mainly with his eyes and excels in the role of Military man.

Abhishekhas done a decent job in the role of ACP with good expressions

Even Bipashadoesn’t get much scope in the small role still she had played it to perfection

Pankaj Dheer, Mukesh Tiwari & Mohan Joshi also supports the lead cast and leaves a mark.

The Crew

The Screenplay is well written by Suparn Verma, which never gives the viewer any chance to think in the first half. The Second half mainly concentrating on the Rescue mission is also well edited.

The Item number “Dilli ki Sardi” featuring Amrita Arora could be easily avoided.

The Dialogue Writer Javed Siddique gets full marks for the Anti Pakistan Slogans, which were well received by the masses. Also Pankaj Dheer’s & bipasha’s dialogues in the Flight are worth applause.

Aseem Bajaj’s Cinematography & background Score by Adesh Srivastava is first rate. Action Director Jai Singh needs special mention for those well-shot action sequences. especially the sequence on the bridge were Abhishek follows a local Gunda & the Climax.

The songs tuned by Himesh Reshammiya & written by Sameer are hummable and well shot.

The Director

Rohit Shetty is a director to watch, his debut film never makes the viewers feel like directed by a first timer. His stylish execution of Action Sequences needs special mention.

Overall

Zameen is a well-shot glossy Action film which falls into the category of “Gadar”, “Tiranga” and so on. Its Stylish Execution, Action sequences, Punching dialo9uges, good Star cast makes it a complete entertainer.

Some Flaws

Ajay was shown getting into a Qualis when he realizes that the Terrorists had escaped from their hideout. But next scene he is shown driving a Gypsy.

Ajay asking Abhishek Whether he is going in the Mission just because his Fiancée is there in the Flight? (Abhishek has shown Married to Bipasha in a song Sequence earlier????)
