This book is horrible.
I could write an extremely long-winded review of this book, but it doesn't even deserve it.
The author took his tried and tested formula for writing spirituality books and just plugged in a few variables (location, names, etc).
The way the author uses the narrarator to brag about his own achievements is criminal.
The Alchemist was good, this is horrible.
I developed absolutely no interest in the characters. I find it hard to like a guy who is in search of his 'one true love' while still dating another woman. Degrading and insulting to women??
There are a lot of good spirituality books out there, do not give this guy any more money for this waste of time.
I would like to end the review now but it has to be atleast 150 words long. Let me end by saying that this book was actually quite funny, although it was not supposed to be. The attempts at deep spirituality could potentially be conceived by any mellow-dramatic 17 year old.
