Last weekend was my husband’s birthday and we decided to go out for dinner at a place where we have never been. Also, as we were having a good time and didn’t want to spoil the fun, we were looking for a place that can add to our joy. While looking for the options, ZAFRAAN LAGUNA’s name came to my mind.
Location: Zafraan Laguna is in Lumbini Jewel Mall(more often known as Brand factory). We were expecting the place to be crowded because of round the season sale going on in Brand factory but it was against our expectations.
Ambience: Ambience of restaurant was a bit dark. A candle and flowers were set on each table. At the centre of the area there is a small body of water(Keeping up to the name Laguna). Arrangement of tables was such that you can enjoy with your friends and family without getting disturbed by others. Light music was being played which created a perfect ambience.
Staff: From the entrance to the exit we were taken care of very well by the staff. We were promptly seated and waiters were available as soon as we needed them. While placing the order, if you are not quite sure of the taste of the dish, they were always ready to tell you whether it would be spicy or sweet and would help you to place the order as per your taste.
Food: Menu offers a variety of Indian and Chinese cuisine along with a variety of beverages, mocktails and cocktails. But there were fewer options for vegetarians and in desserts section. We ordered a dish with a bit of variation with that in the menu and to our surprise it was great!
All in all it is a good place to go out with family and friends and spend a quality time over food.
