Yu Yureka first smartphone of the Yu televentures launched the successor Yu Yureka plus quite a sometimes ago. It comes with some improvements. Let's check how it fares against its predecessor and to the competition.
Design: It looks almost similar to the Yureka. All the placements of sensors, buttons, earpiece, microphone, speakers and camera placements remains the same. The device also retains it matte finish back. The device has good build quality.
Display: Yu Yureka Plus comes with a improvements over the Yu Yureka. Now it comes with a Full HD displays. The display panel us a 5.5inch full HD. The sharpness and viewing angles are now become more good. All other things are like its predecessor. It also comes with Gorilla Glass like Yureka.
Camera: It comes with a 13MP rear and 5MP front set of cameras. On paper the camera looks similar to the Yureka but now they comes with an improvement. The daylight shots become a tad bit of good. Low light shots still lacks the quality. Overall the rear camera improved by a bit. Front camera performance remains the same.
Software: Yu Yureka Plus co.es with Android Lollipop and on top of that comes with Cyanogen custom ROM. It offers very much customization to user hands. The software is now seems sleek and good polish. But there are heating issues and bugs are also there.
Performance: It comes with the same set of hardware configuration and offers very similar levels of performance. The performance is same and best comes out to be averaged. The device works good in basic works but when you tries to push it hards it shows it limitations. The performance is pretty much the same. It doesn't come with improved performance which is a big let down for users. When you push the device for heavy multitasking and do a high level of gaming the smartphone stutters. The device also heats up. The performance benchmarks also shows the pretty same level of benchmarks as the Yu Yureka.
Battery: It comes with a 2500 mAh battery same as the Yureka. It also offers the same level of battery life. User excepts more from it. The battery also take its time to charge. The power saving mode helps you to stick to device a bit long.
Verdict: Yu Yureka Plus is comes with improvement over the Yu Yureka but it not a performing device and don't offers value such as the competition. You better to buy a device from the competition. You cam go for LeEco Le1s, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Meizu M3 Note and Coolpad Note 3.
