Everyone has defining moments in their life. Reading this book is one of the defining moments in my life. No review can do justice to this book. It is absolutely amazing.
I was first told about this book by a friend. She was at one of the lowest points in her life when she came across this book.
Ever since she read and practiced the suggestions in this book, her life started changing. Her relationships changed for the better, her confidence levels increased and soon she also started her small venture. Though I have seen the positive changes in her, I was too lazy to read the book.
Last October, was one of the lowest points in my recent past. Things were not working out for me at work. I was extremely stressed and my confidence levels were very low. It was at this time I did a workshop at Antharyami, Hyderabad based on the this book.
Ever since there was no looking back. My life started changing. My relationships at home started changing. I started spending quality time with my children and started going out on a regular basis. I started cherishing the time I spend with my wife and had good conversations with her at nights.
We went on a family vacation after seven years. My relationship with my father changed. On the professional side too, there were dramatic improvements. From being forced to take a pay cut in October 2009, my boss offered me a incredible pay rise in march 2010.
But I decided to move on to a wonderful new company I love working for and that too for a much better salary. On the health side, I have not felt better. I started morning walks and became conscious of what I eat. I have lost 10 kg's weight and my waist size reduced from 38 inch to 34 inch.
My life started changing for the better in different areas which are very important to me, like family, career and health.This teachings of this book can be applied to all areas of your life. It can be applied for improving relationships, career, health, work, addictions, etc.
The author Louise Hay is an example of the work she preaches. From being divorced and helpless at the age of 45, she has been able to transform herself into a very loving, successful and wonderful lady with assets worth 2000+ crores.
I am extremely GRATEFUL to her for writing this book and being my guardian angel at one of the lowest points in my life and helping me out of the mess I created for myself.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone! 39 million copies sold worldwide is a testimony in itself for this book.
This book is the best gift you can give to anyone. It is so powerful. I have gifted this book too so many of my friends and family members.
I am not really big into reviews, but I am taking the time to write this review hoping this book will reach more people and change their lives for the better!
