I had never known of the sizzlers until I went to the yoko sizzlers in the santa cruz. I know what you be thinking. what is the sizzlers, na? the sizzlers are nothing but the regular foods but which has smoke coming out. no, it is not the bad smoke like from cars but the good smoke. this is because the foods is very hot. the smoke makes the food invisible so you will not sometimes see where the foods is. the smoke is also not the aromatic smoke, but the non smelly kinds. not all foods can be made the sizzle. only some can like the steeks, and the sashkliks. I am veggie so I took only the veggie sashkliks.
when the waiter was bringing the foods I could hear the sizzle sounds. thats why the foods are called the sizzlers. I very much liked the veggie sashlik sizzler, and my friends also loved the steek which is made from the beef. which I dont eat. the yokos also makes the chicken sizzlers for the non veggies who dont eat the cows. very yummy food. nice hot and sizzling.
the yokos also makes the thick milk shakes, the veggie/chicken burgers and many more non sizzling varieties. I saw many people eating only the sizzlers so I dont know how the rest of the foods are. but it must be good. the waiters are also good. but you will have to wait if you dont have the reservations.
