The first time I saw him on television. The second time I met him at the camp . I love this guy. NO NO dun get me wrong its not that mushy mushy kind of love I am talking about. I am talking about Baba Ramdev.
I mean seriously I am moved by this guys spirit. He is a man on a mission. A mission to create a healthy India. A mission to help a common man live a better life. Dun go on his looks . He might be mistakened for an illiterate dhongi baba. Actually what surprises me even more is dat this guy has hardly completed his studies and still he has gained so much attention over the last 4 years. I seriously hate people who claim to be famous guruji's . I hate People who jus thug people in the name of god. They are jus good for nothing. But this man promises to be a yog guru. Its not that I am favouring neone over here , I am just expressing my personal views on this guy which are quite justified.
Last week I attended his camp which was held at Bandra Kurla Complex. I was not too keen to attend it , but after mom's continous coaxing I finally gave in. What was worth noticing abt the camp was the amount of people attending it. There were some big shots from the political world , some bollywood biggies , middle class junta (the figure amounting to more than 20,000 correct me if I am wrong).
Why would people care to get up at 3 in the morning and drive from all parts of mumbai jus to attend dis camp. They wud park their cars 2 kms away from the camp and walk all the way to attend this yog camp. I seriously dun know why Baba Ramdev had been in controversy some months back. Perhaps it was just a political stunt to chase him away. If he was wrong then why the hell did Brinda Karat disappear from the scene after creating a chaos among his followers. Neways coming to the main point I feel Baba Ramdev is a promising guru who teaches people to lead a healthy life jus by following some simple asana's like Kapalbhalti and Pranayam. His spiritual language is not only easy to understand by a layman but also easy to follow. He beams on the television sets early in the morning at 5.30 am explaining the concepts of pranayama and the joys of easy breathing.And all those lazy bumps who miss the show can catch the repeat telecast at 8.30pm in the evening.
