Whenever we will recall Jatin & Lalit as Jatin Lalit we will certainly recall JJWS and Yes Boss. In my consideration their very best is the later one. I still remember the promos of Yes Boss came out and in first listening the super melodious music was adjudged from its song. Jatin and Lalit have decided to separate and they will give music as Jatin alone and Lalit. This news was confirmed by Lalit and with that music lovers will also be much disappointed as these two are giving us decent music over the last 20 years and if they will be separated then it might heart the quality of their production of music.

My intent to write this review is to jog your memory a great work by great Music composers and if by chance they both see this review they might get the fact that how well they both were composing and this might hurt their fans.

Abhijeet

Jatin Lalit produced a soft melody with Abhijeet singing in humble voice. The first promo I watched of Yes Boss was this song and I just loved it at once. Now its around 8 years old still it is as sweet as it was then to my ears. Javed Akhter wrote simple but decent poetry. Everyone who listened this song love this song.

From My Review Five Best of Abhijeet (written on 7th Jan 2005):This is the movie which we say is the best movie for Abhijeet after being for so many years in the singing field this is the one movie in which most of the songs sung by Abhijeet’s and he has proved that you cant compete him if the tune is soft and orchestration is good. This time Jatin-Lalit did an excellent job.

Continuation of a the start as the starting track was fabulous this one is a complementary. An ordinary composer could have easily spoiled these kinds of lyrics which are talking about becoming rich but Jatin Lalit quality and sentencing made the song listenable and loveable. Abhijeet also continues his nice use of voice and resultant song is cute.

Udit and Alka

Lets take a break from Abhijeet and come to Udit-Alka duet. On first hearing the song never appealed me but as I listened it more and more I got use to it and the song also becomes my one of favourites. Arrangement style reminds R D Burman’s pattern and gives a sweet impact. Overall the contains ingredients which make it a loving track.

Suniye To

Abhijeet

Return to Abhijeet. This tune is lifted but not once. Actually Jatin Lalit lifted this tune and used in two of their songs. One was Saila Saila Tu Pyar Hai Pehla sung by Hari Haran which was from a low profiled movie called Gundagardi and remain unnoticed, so they used it again in Yes Boss for Suniye To. This time Abhijeet sung it. But the add-to feature was that it was picturized on Shahrukh Khan and choreographed very well by Farah Khan. This is a good ok song.

Ek Din Aap

Kumar Sanu and Alka

One of the best duet. Arrangement are JL usual, the notable thing is singing and https://lyrics. Kumar Sanu always great when slow song are presented to him. Alka is also sweet in the song. But Javed Akhter takes the lead from all who has written such nicely that one feels heaven. Arrangements are nice and pure JL style.

Jaata Hai Tu Kahan

Abhijeet

Abhijeet returns with a fast track. Jaata Hai.. is a well arranged song and it includes blend of many styles. Qawali + Rock and in the end it is a good song. Javed Akhter writes it well so as JL composed it and compliment to that Abhijeet sung it. This is the closing track and finally the album ends with grace.

No Boss

Jatin Lalit have given this album eight years ago and now they are more mature and their music knowledge must be increased by leaps and bounds and with the advent of technology they must be more powerful but unfortunately money ruined their minds and they split. This is not happen first time in Bollywood. If see the history will find that Shankar Jaikishan also quarreled for the same reason later Shiv-Hari followed the same fate and now Jatin Lalit. But their music will live for a long long time and people will remember them and this album is the elegance of their till date work.
