NRE Bank account opening process seem to be very slow compared to its peers like HDFC or Axis. I sent the documents for collection on Monday and I was told account opening will take 3 days and today is friday and I have no clue till date if the account is open. I am assuming its not open because still I am receiving calls which are more of verification calls.
Since its the initial experience I am having I wish the service would be up to the mark. Its strange how ever Yes bank being the fastest growing bank in India on the delay in opening account.
The relationship manager also does not seem to be responsive I write in to him and get to see response only after a day or two
