I applied for a personal loan in Yesbank in Aug 2016, as the sanctioned amount was less, I did not avail the loan. Again I applied for a personal loan in Nov 2016 for higher loan amount. The amount got sanctioned. But to my surprise Yesbank did not take any new application form and used the old one that was submitted in Aug 2016. The bank officials mentioned that whatever we discussed in Aug 2016 hold good. In Aug 2016, they promised me "No Foreclosure charges and option to foreclose anytime, " and "No part payment charges". I availed the loan only because of these two promises.
With the same commitment, they processed the loan in Nov 2016. But when I wanted to foreclose the loan in Dec'2016, they refused to foreclose it mentioning that these conditions were never discussed and never promised.
Yesbank do not have any phone verification for the loans and hence they were able to cheat me easily as evidence was not there. They claim that they met me in person in Nov 2016 before approving the loan, which is totally a false statement by the bank and I can prove it anywhere.
I have written a complaint to all levels in Yesbank including their grievance head, but no proper enquiry happened and the complaints were closed with the story of Ilayaraja, the branch manager.
Not only this, they are not going as per the signed agreement as well. In the agreement, it is mentioned that foreclosure can happen after 6 months but the bank is not agreeing to foreclose the loan as per the agreement. Again I have written to yesbank grievances head and waiting.
I would like to warn consumers on this Yesbank cheating, Be aware of this fraud bank.bank
