Excelent time if our life, Read on . Review on Yelagiri

I was asked by my family to look for a holiday destination near Bangalore since I am studying computers, I checked on the internet and found on mouthshut.com reviews about le Auroville Resort in Yelagiri hills, and called up and spoke to Mike(Manager) who gave us details about the resort and rooms and tariff. I asked my brother to follow up on this lead as well as the other resort and hotel numbers I got from the net.

We were 8 families and after finalizing on the rates and accommodation, we decided to stay in Le Auroville Resort and I would like to describe our experience.

Ambiance

The resort is really beautiful, surrounded by beautiful hills on both sides of the resort, Tall trees are all around the resort with stone benches under the trees and a carpet of grass all around, there are so many cute birds busily hopping from branch to branch and their voice is so relaxing.

Accommodation

There are spacious rooms with modern attached bathrooms, the rooms have elaborate tile floors and beautiful décor, There are 2 king size beds in each room with color TV and a lounge in each room. One of the rooms even had a recliner which we fought to be shifted from room to room. There are also 2 bedroom sweets and family rooms as well.

*Hospitality

*We arrived to Jolarapetti by train and Mike was waiting to pick us up from the railway station with some help for our luggage, we were taken care of from that moment on.  Arrangements were made for a 22 sitter  vehicle to pick us up to the hill for Rs 800/- one way. As soon as we reached the resort, the entire staff were waiting for us to arrive, and we settled in to our rooms.

We are strict vegetarians and the management made special arrangements for a separate kitchen be given to us. All of our family members had different needs as we had many children and old people, We were all looked after and cared for, we felt like we were at home all the time, we were very sad to leave after 2 days.

*Facilities

*FUN FUN and ADVENTURE: Every one had so much to do, we hired bicycles and even moped’s and enjoyed the country side on the hill, even though cycling was hard after a long time, we all went for trekking in the forest, some bold men in the group went for a night safari which they could not stop talking about the next day, there is a large lawn to play all outdoor games, We also requested for bonfire and we danced to bangara music late into the night and played musical chairs.
