Charming movie which takes a light look at the much serious topic of tenants forcingly taking possession of property and making a mockery of The Maharashtra Rent Control Act. Dayashaker Pandey (Sunil Shetty) is the rightful owner of a house in Downtown Bombay which he wants evacted. The tenants Saraswati Joshi (Mahima Chaudhary) and her Sister, Brother and Mother refuse to evacuate it. Dayashanker takes the help of his old pal who happens to be the local Cop O.P.yadav (Paresh Rawal). That plan bombs miserabbly as O.P.Yadav falls in love with Saraswati. Dayashanker tries to evacuate the house by all possible means ranging from hiring a lawyer (Asrani) to hiring goons (Neeraj Vora) to forcibly staying in the house but fails in all of them. Towards the end he finds out a hidden past of the tenants. Both Sunil Shetty and Mahima Chaudhary have given delighful and heart warming performances. Well meaning movie with a fabulous star cast and supported very well by Neeraj Vora, Saurabh Shukla, Paresh rawal, Suhasini Mullay and Asrani. Not as delighful or fast paced like Hera Pheri but still a very subtle and a charming movie. Watch out for a hilarious song sequence involving paresh rawal.

1) Mahima Vhaudhary is shown to be staying in Girgaum. We see Auto Rickshaw in that area. Auto rickshaw's are not permitted in girgaum area.
2) When Neeraj Vora runs away from the dog carrying the bomb he is shown running in to a police station in Goregaon. How did he manage to run from Girgaum to Goregaon (a distance of nearly 30 Kms) in such a short distance.
3) When Paresh Rawal calls Mahima Chaudhary to a central park, it is actually the Golf Club at Goregaon where only members are permitted and auto-rickshaw's are not permitted.
4) Mahima Chaudhary is shown standing at a bus stop in bombay where the bus numbers 201, 341 and 501 stops. The bus no. 501 should have been written in red colour as it is a limited bus. Bus route no. 83 is shown halting there although the bus route number is not written on the stop. 201 is a bus route of bandra and 501 is a new bombay bus route. Under no circumstances can both the bus route have one comon stop.
