This is one of the best movies of recent times. It narrates a series of interconnected events in some common people's lives and then tries to explain how everyone can achieve what he/she wants just by thinking differently - notably not blaming others for all their woes of lives.
A commendable feature of the movie is that it tries to encounter some common misconceptions about our society - like all Muslims are terrorists, Bihari's are uneducated people etc.
The story goes like this - A call centre CEO flirts with one of his employee and tries to have sex with her. However, in irony of fate, later same man saves the girl from a gang of political hooligans! How his attitude changes? Because one day he discovers that his own daughter comes to entertain her on the bed!! The woman in question has another story.
She loves a man who is son of a ambitious political leader. His son initially refuses to marry her as he can't go against his father. Again, in twist of events, he himself disowns his father in front of media and returns to his beloved. A Marxist Naxalite wants to kill the same call center CEO by order of underworld don. But he regains his good virtue when chased by police inspector, who incidentally was his friend. The police inspector initially mocks a Bihari labour as useless idiot.
Yet, when he lies in pool of blood on road after an accident, the same Bihari chap carries him to hospital in his hand cart. A muslim man tries to plot a bomb so that he can take revenge on Hindus. Yet, another muslim manages to fire the good side of him so that he becomes a martyr instead and saves lives of innocent people. His very friend is well mannered gentle man, yet he becomes violent when he sees underworld don shoots his wife in public.
A judge is in dilemma because the doctor who helped him, is in wrong side of the law in very next moment. A maid in CEO's house shivers in disbelief when CEO's wife searches on her bag secretly. There are several touching scenes in the movie. I was quite spellbound watching this movie even though I had very low expection before watching it.
