Lets get straight to the point. YMI is just not another stupid kind of movie which will be a super hit like GOLMAAL RETURNS..which really sucked all the way.. its truely a masterpeice in each and every department...
YMI shows almost all the issues which INDIA is currently facing..the issues with which India is not able to deal ...the issues are shown perfectly and the execution of the story I mean stories is excellent..there are in all 7 stories involved in tihs movie but the treatment of the movie is so good that for one minute also you cannot move from your place.
house owner and her maid: a household story where the owner is always checking her maid even if the maid is very trustworlyy. the servant is played my seema biswas and owner by sarika... actig by both is top notch.
bihari comming to mumbai: this is the best part of the movie I really cried watchingth is part.
its all about the treatment which the non- maharastrians get when they come to reside in maharastra. the bihari is played by rajpal yadav and maharastrain by shinde. the director is succeded is making one beleive thats its never about mharatrain vs bihari.. its all about humanity..rajpal yadav deserves a salute for this performance....yuo have to cry at the climax of this story.
judge in a traffic jam: this is actually two storis in one which has a jdge going to hospital for his dauhters delivery. and also after that going to court for a case which also deals with doctors stuck in traffic jam.. anupam kher is the judge here I dont konw about other actors... again a perfect treatment ot a tory. with good performances from everybody.
call center: this story shows how a call center owner takes undue advantage of the girls working over there and how he has to get to hid own daughter as the end... again a splendid performance form the cast this inclued the guy who played the broter of amir in ghulam as call center owner and the accused girl is palyed by the actrees who stared oppisite kunal khemu in kalyug.
4 love story and politics: this a story of a girl and boy in love and the father of the boy taking undue advantage of the same thing to be at the top in poliitics.. the boy is played my purab khli he is always a father boy here...the girl is the same accused call cneter girl... and the faher is played by sir vallabh vyas... at the end the boy turns into a man is shown nicely..
gansters v/s builders: her we have two vetereain actors vijay raaz and atul kulkarni whoperfecty suit their roles. atul is a hindu while vijay is a muslim who family is killed in the riots by hindus so he hates hindus but his best friend is atu lwho is hindu... again shown nicely. the builder is the call center owner.
muslim discriminaiton: the character sameer ali is a muslim man and a educated sophesticated person with all respect oall the other religions ..he is just again discriminated by the soceity just because he is a muslim..he wants ot buy a flat in a posh localicy in mumbai but is denied because he is a muslim..the guy who play sameer ali has done full justice to the role. his faincee is played by the attractive perizad zorabain she looks awesome and als oacts well ahe aslways has a clash with sammer ali because she is an NRI and do not want to live in India but on the other hand sameer despite of so many discriminations want ot live in India.
Central story...a guy's safari gets stolen: well this is the central...hummm not he central actually but the story which statrs the movie..... a guy is stucked in the same traffic as of anupam khers but in no time his car gets stolen....nothing in this story this story is just start all other stories.
about the direction of N Chandra he deserves huge appluad for handling all the subjects very well.
script writer also deserves a specail mention for having connectinos bet the story very very very well.
all the needed things were there in the movie and not needed things were not there...:)
there was no place for songs in the movie .....thanks we didnt have any.
there was no need for big stars in the movie .....we didnt have any.
this kind of cenima neede powerful background music... hurray we got it.
we didnt need any lavish set desiginig here but still needed a decent one for some stories...we got it right
7 stories my got the movie will be big in lenght..... no sorry we have got very good editors for the movie.

in all a complete movie.....after many days.......i mean years I watched a complete movie which stands out in each section......

its a request, order and advise for all the INDIANS to watch this movie....its a collectors edition...i am going to by one for me ...once the original DVD is out.
