How many college-based dramas or comedy shows have you seen? well, this one is the best & the coolest & its real! The main thing that came out to me from it is that even the cultural and disciplined people can survive in fancy and modern colleges. Believe me- the show can be real funny sometimes- its actually a drama show that U can get into and watch having fun every day unlike shows like Kasauti or any other balaji soaps where the word 'fun' can be away for days not that I'm against them(watching them is a different kind of taste of fun than this one).
Concept- A college-going girl, Pooja, who wishes to be a successful film director in her life like Karan Johar(she's a dreamer) have alot of struggles stored for her. By facing many family confrontations, she finally ends up going to the college St. Martins without anyone's disagreement( the disagreements didn't go on too long, though). She is on her way of surviving college against the hatred of Annie and Kushan( her fellow classmates) alongside with her best friend Mandy and a new-made friend Aakash.
Characters-
Pooja- She is a dreamer but also intelligent and she doesn't give up. Her most touching philosophy so far has been 'what is a dream that can be accomplished so easily?' She is also innocent, bright, pretty with big eyes. (she is made fun of by Annie because she has a gujarathi accent).
Mandy- Very funny sometimes
a live person
very comedian-like
innocent
a bit dorky but intelligent
she is Pooja's best friend and calls her 'pooji'.
Aakash- dashing, cute innocent, nice, caring
determined, cunning, intelligent
he is friendly with everyone, except with Ronit, though, he often tries to pretend that they should forget their feud, their feud started out when Pooja had given a fake certificate of a school activity to get admission in St. Martins( she had earned a real certificate but the admission would have run out til she had her hands on the real certificate, so Mandy had adviced her to give in a fake certificate), Annie(a student who doesn't like Pooja) overheard Pooja and Mandy talking about it and she sent a letter to the Principal, and then Ronit's sister, Reema, decided to get Pooja out of trouble and asked Ronit to get that letter out of the Principal's office before he reads it. Ronit got in the office but Pooja, Mandy, and Aakash misunderstood and thought he was putting Annie's letter in the office. Aakash insulted Ronit and had a fight with him after Pooja was out of trouble. It was after then Reema told them the truth that Ronit was there to get Pooja out of trouble, not in trouble. All misunderstandings went away but hatred remained in Ronit against Aakash for Annie and Kushan will never not let more ghee fall on a burning wood.
Ronit- gentle, sometimes nice, mostly egoestic
gullible to Annie and Kushan
hates Aakash
cute, dashing
Aakash is cuter than him, but since he smiles unreasonbly most of the time, it makes him less cooler than Ronit.
He's also my favorite person in the show.
Reema- innocent, gullible, nice, polite she is Ronit's younger sister. she is a friend of Pooja, and appreciates Pooja and Mandy's cute relationship. she carries around a doll with her most of the time(maybe, all the time!)
Kushan- egoestic, self-centered, another form of Annie
has big eyes like Pooja. I hate his character. He can really look like a monkey.
Annie- egoestic, self-centered, another form of Kushan
pretty, modern(but has the negative type roll) I don't hate her character as much as I hate Kushan's character.
The rest are her parents, her two elder sisters, her younger brother who are all cultural (except her brother who wouldn't actually be called cultural) and they're her problems outside college or half the time in college also. And another are Mandy's parents- Pooja's neighbors, who're quite a funny Punjabi family, especially Mandy's Mother, Pammi.
