My story @ YATRA……
It a huge ordeal that you have to deal to book your hotel reservations with YATRA.com. The name of the site looked apt (India, tangy), all the great business backings (Heard TV18 behind this??)… But for what; to make the customers go through hell..(Read on as to prevent this hell happening with you).
This is the story of HMQKL5 the poor reference number which took me through my humiliating experiences which I would want not a single soul to jump into……………..
I made my 'first' reservation on this new site for a single day room at at a budget hotel in Nashik. To my luck or unluckiness, I had just seen a Moneycontrol Yatra promo and discount coupon which I used during my reservation. The yatra site seems all well except for the fact it allowed me to make the rest of the amoutn payment at the hotel itself. This facility might be a kick of an affair, but please never use that with YATRA.com. They can't manage that yet. This lead me to my interactions with their Customer support staff. Well not to mention that I received an sms from Yatra about my reservation in five minutes or so on my mobile.. Good I said.. they seem to have th technology and integration, now lets see their actual/business competence. Well its a saga.... TO CONTINUE
